Butterfly Kisses- Flying Unicorn May Kit of the Month

This month may kit for Flying Unicorn is featuring two beautiful collections: Nature Walk from 7 Dots Studio and Cartographer from Prima Marketing.
Here is the second layout I created with the kit:
This is one of my favourite pictures of my daughter. We took it professionally a few weeks after she came home from Russia. We adopted this wonderful little red headed girl and to me she’s just like a  delicate butterfly.

I just knew that this photo was perfect for this kit and I incorporated lots of natural elements from both the Nature Walk and the Cartographer collection.

I created a mixed media background using glazes, sprays and inks. I embellished with Prima flowers and other cool embellishments from the kit.

Papers and tags: 7 Dots Studio, Prima
Stickers: 7 Dots Studio
Flowers: Prima Cartographer
Metal embellishments: Flying Unicorn
Stencil: Prima
Shimmerz- Spiced cider
Silks glaze: Emperors gold, Apricot nectar
LSG: bronze
Chipboard: Prima
Bark butterflies: Prima
Wood icon: Prima
Gold Marker: art Deco
If you want to buy this beautiful May kit, you can go to the Flying Unicorn store here.
Have wonderful day!!

I can't get over how cute your daughter's baby photo is! And I love how your layout echoes the colors from the photo but keeps the photo itself front and center.
