Here is another Art journaling page I created in my recycled paper journal I bought on my trip to Ecuador.
I just love the natural texture that the recycled paper gives the background.
I used book paper to create the tree, birds and ground. I ripped pieces of each paper and built it piece by piece.
I used fluid acrylics to cover and shade the background, adding some darker shades on the edges and lighter ones in the center. Then I used a brown stampers big brush pen to create shade behind the tree and birds.
Finally I did some hidden journaling with a brown pen. It blends into the background so you can’t see it. I also used a black Posca marker to outline the shapes and add some visible journaling.
