This week, the Prima blog is featuring masculine projects for Father’s Day.
Below I created a layout using lots of masculine elements perfect for this occasion.
I created this masculine layout for my husband for father’s day. Every year, I create a layout for father’s day and give it to him as a gift. After so many years together, Its hard to find original ideas to give to my husband for Father’s day so at least I give him a layout he can frame and hang by the side of his bed. That way, he can see how the kids have changed over the years. I feel so grateful and very lucky to have these three people in my life.
I used the Craftsman collection which is very masculine. I combined it with matching Prima flowers and embellishments.
The metal Junkyard findings and the wooden embellishments were the perfect accents for this grungy looking project.
I used a couple of the Color Bloom sprays to create a more grungy, mixed media feel to the layout.
I also stamped with one of the wash tape stamps Prima released last year. It created an interesting texture in the background.
Of course I couldn’t go on without adding my beautiful Prima flowers. You guys know I’m addicted to them and so I add them to masculine layouts too.
