Whispers- BITW Reveal

Happy New Year everyone!!!
I can’t believe that as of tomorrow it will be 2013. For some of you it already is!!
It feels like the turn of the millennium was just yesterday but 13 years have passed!!
This post is bittersweet for me as it is my last reveal for Bird is the Word. I’ve been with BITW for a year and a half now and I feel its time for me to say goodbye!!
What better time to start anew than with the new year.
Bird is the Word is also Having a Design Team Call and as of February will have one word challenge a month instead of a bi-weekly challenge
The word to use in the challenge today is
WHISPER
My son always likes to whisper things in my ear so his sister won’t hear what he’s saying. He likes to bug her that way because she’s very curious!!
Last time he did that, I told him to hold the pose and I took a picture with my iPhone.
I made a layout and called it Whispers
My journaling says: “I love when you whisper sweet secrets in my ear”

I apologize for the blurriness but when I took this picture I hadn’t seen the sun in a while and it came out a bit dark.

I used  BoBunny papers for this layout. I tried to make it more masculine with a feminine touch

The chipboard pieces: Vintage Key, Clock frame and Fob watch are from 2 Crafty. I covered them in crackle paint from and then dabbed them with acrylic paint dabbers

The large burgundy flower is from MHC and the round rosettes are from BoBunny. I dipped them in Acrylic ink: first butterscotch and then brown.

I used the BoBunny LO challenge for December as an inspiration. I tried to find my own inspiration from this picture. I loved the windows on the houses so I cut the windows out of a BoBunny paper
I also incorporated a key into the layout which is the title of this picture and to simulate the large moon I used the clock frame above my picture.
