You, Me & The Sea– 7 Dots Studio Challenge Altered Art

For my give-away press HERE
I created a 3D pop up book page for the “Altered Art” theme for the 7 Dots Studio March challenge.
I used both Destination Unknown and Cotton Candy Dreams to create this underwater assemblage.
Here is the inspiration circle you must include in your post when join the challenge:

I used chipboard, flowers, mini art stones, real shells and starfish and a mini glass bottle. I combined everything with some mixed media sprays, gesso, alcohol inks and stuck it all with gel.
I mounted it all on an old hard cover book so it would be sturdy enough to withstand the mixed media products and the heavy pieces. I’m quite pleased with the results.
This is a picture of my kids during a photo shoot at the beach so I thought it was perfect for this off the page project.
I just love ocean/beach projects. I love the colours and the beautiful objects you can use. I really loved creating this project as It looks my kids are in an underwater adventure.

My kids were asking me to purchase these products for their use in schools for their drawings and other use.
