F8F Bearcat / Blue Angel Airplane ModelGrumman F8F Bearcat airplane model. Production of the F8F 1 began just six months after the first flight of the prototype, and the first airplane was delivered to the US Navy's VF 19 squadron on 21 May 1945. The Navy's order totaled 2,033 airplanes, and Grumman contracted with General Motors to build the Bearcat under license, with the designation F8FM 1. Only a few Bearcats had been delivered to the Navy when the end of the war halted production.

Works perfect for BMW S63 engine.
I used this to change the oil on my BMW M8 with the S63 engine. It was a perfect fit. It extended far enough onto the filter housing to be quite secure with no risk of slipping off and stripping the housing. It was snug on the housing and did not bind up due to having a loose fit. The tool feels well-built and I suspect it will outlive me given my occasional personal use. It would still probably hold up well even for daily shop use as long as it was not abused (repeatedly dropped, slammed around, etc).
