This will cause a corroded frost plug to leak. The BD rear frost plug is able to be seal the leak without the need to hammer out the old frost plug. We recommend installing the rear frost plug plate when the Tranmission is removed. The plate can be installed with the Tranmission in place, however the surface finish on the back of the motor is

Quick and easy claim process.
I had problems with my Sous Vide and the manufacturer warranty expired 1 year ago. I made a claim with Asurion and they immediately sent me a return label. I returned the old Sous Vide and I was sent an amazon gift card to purchase a new Sous Vide within a couple of days.

ASURION EXTENDED WARRANTIES
I was skeptical that my ASURION warranty would be honored since it was not an easy process to submit claim and required following up several times. Not as easy as buying it initially for a product on check out at amazon. Once the burdensome process was completed on my end, It was easy load the gift card issued for the warranty to my Amazon account. I would definitely look at warranty policies closer though before purchasing one. Good luck if you decide to purchase extended warranty.
