Caribou 1-A Short Pelting KnifeCaribou 1 A Short Pelting Knife Specially designed tools for a special purpose, the trapping industry. These knives are made to withstand and last there intended uses. Skinners, pelters and scrapers, fine tools of the trade. All are made from fine surgical stainless steel, and finished with an HRC of 57 58. This is a shorter version of the triangle shaped pelting knife. The handle is the same as the 1 S pelting knife, just a slightly shorter blade.

Lightweight but so is the original
When the package arrived it was in a very thin lightweight box that was crushed on one side. I thought for sure it was trashed. By chance…all was good. The lights are thin plastic but made very close to the original standard. They fit well on the car but the gasket needs to be tucked in around the edges. That material seems thin. The end result is actually a nice looking inexpensive light. Overall I am happy.
