I designed this layout for  the March challenge at OUAS. The journaling theme is about weekends. At first I wasn’t sure what picture to use but then I found this cute picture of my daughter vegging on my bed on a Sunday morning and I though how perfect for this challenge. She loves coming in the morning and relaxing on our bed. Of course she talks non-stop and wakes us up but its so adorable.
Here is the sketch you must use for this challenge
Here are some close-ups of my layout:
I used lots of yummy Websters Pages papers and embellishments and I journaled on a fussy cut pieces from one of the papers.

That cute resin frame is from the Trinket Track and the cameo from WP.

You can see lots of Mixed media textures here. I used chipboard squares and masked them with a Prima mask. Then I sprayed them with two different Shimmerz sprays

Papers: Websters pages
Flowers: Prima, Websters Pages
embellishments (cameo, story teller, doily): Websters Pages
Alphas: Websters Pages
Shimmerz sprays
Resin frame: The trinket track
gesso, chipboard squares
Folk art textured paste
Martha Stewart punch
Prima Mask

Just adore these colours!! and the textures, oh my gosh – heavenly!! You must be using a texture paste that is heavier than ordinary one as you get such fab textural definition on your masking. Boss is out of the office at the mo and I'm having a long lunchbreak so thought I'd pop in for that long overdue visit while having my take-away. xoxo
