Mixed Media Altered Notebook | “Remember When” blog hop

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the “Remember When” blog hop. A few of us have gathered for a blog hop and as a theme it was required to use a scrapbooking embellishment that is at least 10 years old or more.

I started scrapbooking in 2003 which makes it 15 years ago and I still have lots of old products that I just can’t seem to get rid of or that I forgot were there. Trust me, I’ve given lots of it away as my craft room couldn’t handle the space problem. However I still managed to find some old embellishments to use for this Mixed Media Altered Notebook.

I love mixed media, and scrapbooking led me to find it, so I was grateful that I could find items that were old and be able to combine them with new ones.

For this project I used a large chipboard from Memory Makers which was made in 2007 (so its 11 years old). I also used some old eyelets, brads and several metals that are probably more than 10 years old. Finally a lot of the Prima Junkyard findings that I used are at least 5 years old. Although they look newer, quite a few years have passed since they were produced.

Scroll down as I have a step by step video tutorial below as well as a giveaway and the list of all the other blogs to hop along.
